The Harbour House Hotel is in an exceptionally prominent position adjacent to the Old Harbour, with great views across the bay. Just across the road is the popular Burgundy Restaurant. Very classy and convenient to the market, street cafés, restaurants, bars and natural attractions.

A very popular boutique hotel, Misty Waves gets good reviews on TripAdvisor. Not quite in the centre of town, but it’s a short walk. It’s an attractive building, has good views, is well finished and has a good service reputation. There is an in-house Indian/Pakistani restaurant.

The Marine Hotel, Hermanus
Not that affordable for all, this owner-managed hotel has a long history and is perched on the cliffs overlooking Walker bay. There are 42 individually decorated bedrooms and suites. In addition to the Marine’s commanding 360-degree view of the surrounding seascape, Overberg Mountains and manicured lawns it also boasts a fascinating history that dates back to 1902.

Marine Square Luxury Apartments
These are luxuriously appointed apartments just 2 streets away from the sea. Very close to supermarkets and restaurants. The suites are well managed and very popular with local (South African) visitors to Hermanus. The repeat business speaks for itself.
